Welcome to The Lost Codex, an MMORPG developed and operated by Permington Dev (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of The Lost Codex (the “Game”) including any related services, content, and updates.

By accessing or playing The Lost Codex, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Game.

1. Account Registration

To play The Lost Codex, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you need parental or guardian permission to register and play the Game.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any account if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in any behavior that is detrimental to the Game or its community.

2. User Conduct

By playing the Game, you agree to follow the rules below:

Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward other players or staff.
Do not exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage.
Do not use cheats, bots, or unauthorized third-party programs.
Players are not allowed to lend items or account details to other players. If you are scammed or hacked, you may report it. Once verified, the player responsible for hacking or scamming will be banned, but no in-game items or assets will be returned to the affected player.

We reserve the right to take action against any account that violates these rules, including account suspension or permanent bans.

3. In-Game Donations

The Game may include options for in-game donations. By making a donation, you agree that:

All donations are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.
Virtual items received through donations have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money outside of authorized transactions.

4. Content Ownership and License

All content within the Game, including but not limited to characters, items, maps, and artwork, is owned by us or our licensors. By playing the Game, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Game content for personal entertainment purposes only.

You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Game or its code without our written consent.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if your actions negatively impact the Game or its community.

Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, characters, and any in-game donations. We are not liable for any losses incurred as a result of account termination.

6. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Game, including updates, features, and content, at any time without notice. These Terms may also be updated from time to time. By continuing to access or use the Game after any changes, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

We provide the Game on an “as is” basis and do not guarantee its continuous or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including loss of data, in-game progress, or account suspension.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Game will be governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes related to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of [Your City, Philippines].
